Method of producing a film-type sensor

In the production of a film-type sensor having a first carrier film, a second carrier film and an electric circuit arranged between the first and second carrier films, at least a part of the electric circuit is formed on the first carrier film, by providing a composite film including the first carrier film and a functional layer applied on the first carrier film and patterning the functional layer of the composite film by mechanical machining so as to achieve the desired electric circuit part on the first carrier film.
