DEVICE FOR GRINDING DEFECT PROTRUDE IN LCD PANEL

A device for removing a defective protrusion in an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel is provided to measure the profile and height of a defective protrusion in an LCD panel without directly contacting the LCD panel. A device for removing a defective protrusion in an LCD panel includes an inspection unit(140), a noncontact measurement unit(120), and a grinding head unit(100). The inspection unit confirms the defective protrusion through an image. The noncontact measurement unit processes acquired image information to obtain the shape of the defective protrusion confirmed by the inspection unit. The grinding head unit removes the defective protrusion based on information on the shape of the defective protrusion obtained by the noncontact measurement unit.
