Apparatus 2 for viewing images on a screen of a hand held electronic device 8, which may be a video game system, when the screen is exposed to bright light. The apparatus comprises a body portion 10 and an attachment means 12 for attaching the body to the electronic device. The apparatus has a first end 14 of the body portion located over the screen, so that the body protects the screen from the bright light, for example creating a shade from sunlight. A person can view the screen from a second end 18 located opposite the first end. The attachment means attaches the apparatus to the electronic device so that the person does not have to hold the apparatus, and the person's hands are free to control and operate the electronic device. The apparatus may also have a magnifying means (32, figure 2) for magnifying the screen as well. |
