A golf car seat assembly comprises upper and lower surfaces, front and rear ends and first and second sides. A first hip restraint 30 is mounted to the lower surface and extends to the first side, the hip restraint comprising polypropylene and being gas assist injection moulded. The first hip restraint may comprise first and second ends 46, 48, the first end being offset from the front end of the seat, and may further comprise a flange (50, Fig. 7A) which overlaps the upper surface of the seat. The assembly may further comprise a second hip restraint 32 extending to the second side, comprising first and second ends 68, 70 and a flange (72, Fig. 8A) which overlaps the upper surface of the seat. The first end 68 of the second hip restraint may be offset from the front end of the seat by a shorter distance than the first end 46 of the first hip restraint. The second hip restraint may extend further above the seat than the first hip restraint. |
