<p>The method involves assigning identification to each distance segments for a pre-determined route network made from separate distance segments. The segments are separated from each other by node points. A data record is produced after passing a node point by the vehicle. The data record has a data field, which contains the identification before reaching the node point of the vehicle, and another data field which contains the identification of the traveled distance segment driven after reaching the node point of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a device for processing travel information in a vehicle.</p> |
