摘要 An anode for a lithium ion secondary battery is provided to inhibit elements forming a collector from diffusing into an active material layer, thereby imparting excellent cycle characteristics to a lithium ion secondary battery. An anode(12) for a lithium ion secondary battery comprises a collector(12a), an intermediate layer(12b) formed on the surface of the collector, and an active material layer(12c) formed on the extension of the intermediate layer, wherein the collector comprises a metal capable of forming an alloy with silicon, the active material layer comprises an active material containing silicon, the intermediate layer comprises silicon and oxygen, and the intermediate layer inhibits the metal capable of forming an alloy with silicon from being diffused into the active material layer.
