A method for preparing a water-soluble antibacterial ink composition to be used to color or pattern a sanitary product such as a diaper, and a method for preparing a sanitary product using the composition are provided to allow the exchange time of a diaper to be informed as an indicator of urine. A method for preparing a water-soluble antibacterial ink composition comprises the steps of (S110) making a mixture solvent comprising water and ethanol; (S120) mixing 45-50 parts by weight of the mixture solvent and 3-7 parts by weight of a natural mordant with stirring to obtain a first mixture; (S130) mixing the first mixture with 0.5-5 parts by weight of a natural coloring dye to obtain a second mixture; (S140) mixing the second mixture with 45-50 parts by weight of a water-soluble synthetic resin and 2-4 parts by weight of an antibacterial surfactant ABDM (alkylbenzyl dimethyl ammonium chloride), stirring it for 30-40 min, and stirring it with re-injecting the collected liquid evaporated one to form a gel composition; and (S150) maturing the gel composition at a room temperature for 24 hours.
