The assembly has an adaptor (2) placed on a propelling gas cartridge (20) to connect a solenoid valve (30) of a gas operated fixation apparatus and the cartridge. The adaptor has a skirt (3) mounted on the valve for blocking in rotation the cartridge in the apparatus and for angular indexing of the cartridge in blocking position. Fins (15, 16) are arranged in grooves (46) of the skirt, and project radially outwards to offer transversal end bosses (17, 18).
