An expanded gas separating apparatus for a cooing and heating system is provided to prevent erroneous operation of a pump by arranging a pressure sustain pump for supplying water to a cooling/heating system on a bottom of an expansion tank and connecting the pump to the expansion tank through a flexible hose. An expansion pipe(8) is extended from a cooling/heating system and connected to an expansion tank(13) through a relief valve(15). A pressure pipe(11) is extended from the expansion tank, and connected to the cooling/heating system through a pressure sustain pump(14). A water level sensor(22) for sensing the level of water and controlling operation of a valve of a water supply pipe(9) is arranged within the expansion tank. The expansion tank has an upper side and a lower side equipped with an overflow pipe(12) and a drain pipe(18). A vacuum breaking valve(20) and a gas removing valve(21) are mounted on an upper cover of the expansion tank so as to sustain pressure in the pipe of the cooling/heating system and remove gas components. The end of the expansion pipe extended into the expansion tank is equipped with a nozzle(16) for spraying water flowing from the cooling/heating system to the expansion tank. |
