BORING CUTTING TOOL AND HOLDER FOR THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve machining accuracy of a boring cutting tool using a holder formed by a sleeve and to prevent chipping of a cutting blade by enhancing the stability for fixing a cutting tool of the holder.

SOLUTION: In the sleeve 2 of the holder 1 for the boring cutting tool for holding the bar-shaped cutting tool 10 by inserting the cutting tool 10 into a center hole 6 of the sleeve 2 and clamping the cutting tool 10 by a clamping means 3, a slit 7 is provided to vertically slit a region from the center hole 6 of the sleeve 2 to an outer peripheral surface from a distal end of the sleeve 2 up to the longitudinal middle part. The sleeve 2 is provided with a fastening tool 4 for fastening a slit forming part of the sleeve 2 to change an inner diameter of the center hole 6.
