PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply power also to other electric devices built in a cordless telephone master set, while charging a secondary battery of a device to be charged such as a cordless telephone slave set from an AC power supply to be applied without using an AC adaptor. SOLUTION: In the cordless telephone master set 10, a rectifying circuit 12 is connected to the AC power supply through a protective circuit 11 and a plug 50, and rectifies AC power applied from the AC power source. An oscillation circuit 13 is connected to the rectifying circuit 12 and a primary coil 14 for inducing an induction voltage in the secondary coil of the cordless telephone slave set 30, oscillates DC power supplied from the rectifying circuit 12 at a predetermined frequency, and outputs the oscillated power to the primary coil 14. A coupling means 15 is electromagnetically coupled to a the primary coil 14. A power amplifying circuit 16 acquires power through the coupling means 15, and amplifies the acquired power. The amplified power is transformed in a transformer 17, made into a constant voltage by a regulator 18, and supplied to a main circuit 19. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
