<p>Polyolefin powder is suspended in a liquid. The liquid contains an organic medium, water, a silver salt, a nitrogen-containing compound, and additive and a reducing agent. The reaction mixture is processed for a specified interval at given temperature, with good mixing, to promote reaction. Silver-coated polyolefin powder is separated from the mixture by filtration. Once separated, the powder is cleaned. A reducing sugar is employed in the mixture; the additive is vinyl pyrrolidone.</p> |
