PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of decreasing a transfer time of image information between it and a storage means and restoring the image information. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus controls with a CPU 22 so that each of pixel information items of image information representing one image is separated, in respective pixel information groups after being distributed, by a prescribed distance in the unit of a prescribed number of pixels in at least one direction of a horizontal direction and a vertical direction of the image represented by the image information, further allowing mutually different pixel information items to be shared among the respective pixel information groups, and is distributed allowing the image information to be reproduced when the pixel information items included in each pixel information group are combined so as to store each pixel information group to a storage section 28A and a storage section 28B on a one-to-one basis.
