A CIRCULAR TYPE SETTLING POND WITH SLUDGE DISCHARGING APPARATUS

A sludge discharge equipment is provided to prevent various problems due to sludge congestion from being generated by effectively discharging the sludge through a discharge pipe without congesting sludge collected into a hopper of a circular settling pond(thickener). A circular settling pond with a sludge discharge equipment is characterized in that: a scraper(30) is installed to collect sludge settled on the bottom of a circular settling pond(thickener)(10) into a hopper(20) installed in the center of the circular settling pond; a sludge discharge equipment(40) rotated separately from the scraper is installed on the hopper; a rotary shaft(42) of the sludge discharge equipment is coaxially installed within a rotation driving part(34) of a scraper rotating shaft(32) for supporting and rotating the scraper; and a drive motor(44) is installed on a top part of the scraper rotating shaft. The sludge discharge equipment additionally has a bearing(48) installed on a bottom part of the rotary shaft thereof to prevent dropping or eccentricity of the sludge discharge equipment.
