<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence that the electrical characteristics of a light emitting element exerts on a drive current. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element E is made to emit light by the supply of the drive current IDR. A drive transistor TDR creates the drive current IDR. A light emission control transistor TEL is the same conduction type as that of the drive transistor TDR, and is arranged on a path of the drive current IDR supplied from the drive transistor TDR to the light emitting element E. In a light emission period PEL to make the light emitting element E emit light, the light emission control transistor TEL is made into an on state by the supply of an on potential VG_ON to a gate. The on potential VG_ON is so set that the light emission control transistor TEL operates in a saturation region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
