<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual authentication system whose security and convenience is high. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving the user attribute information of a user from a first client computer, this authentication computer specifies the mail address of a second client computer corresponding to the received user attribute information of the user based on user management information, and selects a mail address for confirmation, and when receiving an electronic mail, the authentication computer specifies the mail address of a transmission origin and the mail address of a transmission destination from the received electronic mail, and decides whether or not the correspondence of the specified mail address of the transmission destination to the specified mail address of the transmission destination is matched with the correspondence of the mail address of the second client computer to the mail address for confirmation, and when deciding that those two correspondences are matched, the authentication computer decides that the first client computer is operated by a legal user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
