Briquettes having improved compression strength are provided, and a method for manufacturing the briquettes by using by-products of ironworks is provided. Briquettes comprise iron fines, and at least one by-product of dust and sludge, wherein the iron fines have a larger grain size and higher density than the by-product, and the by-product is filled in pores between the iron fines. A method for manufacturing briquettes comprises the steps of feeding iron fines, mixing the iron fines with dust or sludge to prepare a mixture, and pressing the mixture to manufacture briquettes. |
