DRUG-CONTAINING MICRO-PARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide drug-containing micro-particles having a small particle diameter and effectively inhibiting bitterness and controlling elution properties of the drug even when the coating amount is small and to provide a method for producing the micro-particles. SOLUTION: The drug-containing micro-particles having 10-100μm average particle diameter are produced by coating drug particles having 1-25μm average particle diameter during flowing with a coating liquid containing a water-insoluble polymer with 10-50μm average mist diameter under 0.1-0.3 MPa spray pressure. Cellulose ethers and acrylic acid-based copolymers can be used as the water-insoluble polymer. The spraying ratio of the coating liquid based on 100 pts.wt. of the drug particles is 0.02-0.6 pt.wt./min converted into solid contents. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
