PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform display device having improved operability when designating the position of a time base direction in a signal waveform. SOLUTION: The device is constituted of the first window display part 121 for displaying a signal waveform in the first window, and displaying a cursor showing a position on the time base; the second window display part 122 for enlarging and displaying in the second window, a scale of the time base relative to a part of the signal waveform in the first window, and displaying a cursor moving sequentially with the cursor in the first window; a window selection part 108 for selecting a window, and changing the selected window based on user operation; a step width determination part 107 for determining the step width of cursor movement relative to each window based on a scale ratio between the signal waveform in the first window and a signal waveform in the second window; and a cursor movement processing part 103 for moving the cursor in the time base direction with a step width to the selected window, and changing the step width based on the change of the selected window.
