PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high pressure fuel supply pump having a small size and a high efficient damper mechanism or a miniature size and a high efficient damper mechanism which reduces pulsation of the low pressure side fuel of a high pressure fuel supply pump in a high pressure fuel supply system. SOLUTION: The damper mechanism includes a metal diaphragm assembly (also it is called two-sheet type metal diaphragm damper) 80 in which two metal diaphragms are welded at entire peripheries sandwiched between the entire peripheries except the welded parts (for instance, inner peripheral sides) or parts by a pressing member and fixed to a storage container 10b, 10c.
