<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rhythm input device, not causing malfunction due to random input by a third party and having high security performance. <P>SOLUTION: This rhythm input system includes an authentication means 7 for user authentication, which is used also for a smart entry system, wherein when authentication is completed by communication between a slave device 7a carried by the user and a master device 7b, rhythm input is accepted based on an output signal of the authentication means 7. When the user lightly taps a door handle where a rhythm input means 2 is disposed to input rhythm, a processing part 6 gives a control instruction for a power window 3a or the like corresponding to the input rhythm to a device control part 4 with reference to a data table of a rhythm pattern storage part 5. In the device control part 4, the power window 3a of the tapped door is controlled to perform opening operation.
