PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus equipped with an inspection section capable of preventing the occurrence of a defect in reliability test and the degradation in production yield. SOLUTION: The inspection section for performing the inspection of an active area of the display apparatus includes a major section 55A to which an inspection signal is supplied at the time of performing the inspection of the active area and wiring 55 for inspection having an island-shaped electrode section 55B spaced from the major section 55A, switching elements 61 and 62 consisting of thin film transistors having the electrode section 55B arranged between the major section 55A and signal supply wiring as a gate electrode, and a jumper section J which electrically connects the major section 55A and the electrode section 55B via a contact hole arranged in a different layer from the wiring for inspection via the insulating layer, formed with the same material as that of the pixel electrode and formed on the insulating layer.
