摘要 A mounting terminal substrate and a display device using the mounting terminal substrate are provided to increase an alignment error margin in COG(Chip On Glass) mounting and improve the reliability of conduction. A mounting terminal substrate includes mounting terminals(3), an interconnection line and an opening(5). The mounting terminals are formed on a substrate(1) in such a manner that predetermined mounting terminals are arranged in a first row, predetermined mounting terminals are arranged in a second low, and each mounting terminal in the first row corresponds to a region between neighboring mounting terminals in the second row. The interconnection line is located between neighboring mounting terminals and covered with an insulating layer(4). The opening is formed by removing a portion of the insulating layer, which corresponds to each mounting terminal. Each mounting terminal is composed of a lower conductive layer(6) and an upper conductive layer(7). The width of the upper conductive layer in a row direction is greater than the width of the lower conductive layer in the row direction and narrower than the width of the opening in the row direction such that the upper conductive layer covers the lower conductive layer exposed through the opening.
