METHOD OF RESISTANCE WELDING, AND RESISTANCE WELDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision of gas pressure enclosed into a work 100 to reduce an inappropriate resistance welding when it is not suitable to perform resistance welding.

SOLUTION: In a resistance welding device, a movable electrode 48 can move in the vertical direction in a chamber 44. The work 100 is mounted on a fixed electrode 40 in the chamber 44 and positioned. A load cell 62 detects that the movable electrode 48 comes to contact with the work 100. A controller 66 opens a switching valve 34 to control it to supply a gas from a supply section 16 of a helium gas into the chamber 44 under the condition that the load cell 62 detected the contact of the movable electrode 48 and the work 100.
