A system and an apparatus for reforming a carbon fiber are provided to improve physical characteristics of the carbon fiber, by applying high-frequency electromagnetic waves to the carbon fiber during a reforming process of the carbon fiber. A system for reforming a carbon fiber comprises a reforming bath, and an electromagnetic wave irradiation unit for supplying electromagnetic waves to the reforming bath. The electromagnetic wave irradiation unit generates electromagnetic waves of 1.0MHz-100.0GHz. The electromagnetic wave irradiation unit is a magnetron(2) for oscillating electromagnetic waves. The magnetron is operated in a frequency range of 1.0MHz-100.0GHz. |
