<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate of backlight unit capable of supplying uniform and high luminance light to a liquid crystal display panel. <P>SOLUTION: A light guide plate 131 is provided in which a plurality of first V-shape grooves 136 extending in a first direction are formed on a first face, and a plurality of second V-shape grooves 137 extending in a second direction and a plurality of third V-shape grooves 138 extending in a third direction different from the second direction so as to cross the second V-shape grooves are formed on a second face opposed to the first face. Since pyramid-shape patterns are formed by the second and the third V-shape grooves formed mutually crossing each other on the second face of the light guide plate in this structure, reflection characteristics of the incident light is improved, and uniformity and luminance of the outgoing light are improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
