PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat damper capable of suppressing discomfort in the sense of hearing due to a striking sound. SOLUTION: A seat damper 100 equipped with a mass member 10 formed as a mass body, a bracket member 20 mounted on a vehicle, a vibration control base body 30 formed of a rubber elastic material besides coupling the mass member 10 and bracket member 20, wherein openings 26, 27 are formed in a counter plate part 25 of the bracket member 20. When the displacement of the mass member 10 is regulated by the bracket member 20, the tone quality of striking sound produced by the regulation (collision) is changed to suppress occupant's discomfort in the sense of hearing.
