PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secure mail system capable of verifying whether or not mail is altered in the case of transmission reception of the mail generated by a mailer. SOLUTION: A sender side mail server 2A receives the mail generated by the mailer in a sender terminal 1A and calculates a first hash value from this mail. When a TS server 3 issues a TST on the basis of sender side hash value, the issued TST is transmitted to a recipient side mail server 2B together with the mail. The recipient side mail server 2B again calculates a recipient side hash value from this mail and transmits the recipient side hash value to the TS server 3. The TS server 3 verifies whether the mail is altered on the basis of the data transmitted to the TS server 3, and transmits results of the verification to the recipient side mail server 2B.
