PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction chamber of a water bar for the jet-needling, which is so configured that when a strip or fleece of a fabric or a knit fabric composed of staple fibers, infinite fibers or acetate fibers, or a form or a mixture of these fibers is jet-needled, the water jet ejected from a water bar is converged to the surface of the cloth and the influence of water droplets or ejected water on the moving direction is prevented. SOLUTION: An air-feeding device 11a furnished with at least one exhaustion opening in a region of a water bar 1a is incorporated in the water bar 1a and/or a suction chamber 5a.
