PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise by uniformizing temperature of respective disk drives arranged in a case, in a disk array device. SOLUTION: The disk array device 50 is provided with a plurality of disk drives 2 arranged in an array state, a ventilation fan provided at one side end side of these disk drives, and a case 1 housing the plurality of disk drives and the ventilation fan. Air for cooling the disk drives is passed through a duct 10. Air passed through the duct is exhausted to the outside of the case by a sub-fan 6. A nozzle 11 is arranged at a tip of the duct.
