A safety device installed to an entrance door for an underground structure is provided to promote the safety and convenience of people coming in and out by having a handle portion at an entrance door of an underground structure. A safety device(1) installed to an entrance door for an underground structure includes a vertical beam(10) hinged to the inside of an entrance door(3) of an underground structure to be rotated, a fixed beam(20) installed to be opposite to the vertical beam and fixed to the entrance door or a wall of an underground structure, upper horizontal beams(31,32) and lower horizontal beams(41,42) placed vertically across the vertical beam and the fixed beam to support the vertical beam and the fixed beam, and a handle portion(50) connected with the upper horizontal beams and the lower horizontal beams to let a worker grip. The handle portion comprises an upper length regulating portion(51) and a lower length regulating portion(52) sliding the upper horizontal beams and the lower horizontal beams and regulating in length, a pair of connecting portions(53,54) connecting each length regulating portion vertically, and plural handles(55,56,57) installed vertically across a pair of the connection portions, wherein the upper horizontal beams and the lower horizontal beams move horizontally to regulate length in the widthwise direction variously according to the size of the entrance door.
