A portable digital device having a built-in connecting jack is provided to withdraw the connecting jack to the outside of the portable digital device directly and connect with a computer body, thereby enabling a user to transmit and receive desired data without carrying a separate part, a cable. A portable digital device(20) having a built-in connecting jack(65) comprises a case(30,40), the connecting jack, and an elastic member(45). A button hole(41) is long formed in a side of the case. A holding groove(43,44) is formed in the edge of both ends of the case. The connecting jack has a connecting unit(66), a holding projection, and a guide unit(67). The connecting unit is installed to move to the inside and outside of the case. The holding projection is joined to the connecting unit to guide the movement of the connecting unit, and is formed to be held to the holding groove. The guide unit has a button guided by the button hole. The elastic member is installed in the case and applies an elastic force in a direction in which the connecting jack is withdrawn by supporting an end of the guide unit.
