PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure printed matter with a high quality having never existed before in which expressing force on detail in a highlight part and fine gradation expressing force such as feeling of smoothness are improved. SOLUTION: The gravure printed matter by a net gravure method is characterized in that an enlarged image on a printed face of the highlight part whose dot area on design is 100-200μm<SP>2</SP>is taken up, and this is made into binary by a specified threshold value, and in this binary image, an area of a printing area containing a non-printing area surrounded by the printing area within the coordinate where each dot should exist is obtained on each dot, and it is judged that when the area is at least 90% of the dot area on design, at most 10μm<SP>2</SP>and other than them, it is a normal dot, a disappear dot, and a defect dot respectively, and the ratio of the number of the normal dots against the whole number of the dots is at least 40%, and the ratio of the number of the disappear dots against the whole number of the dots is at most 30%.
