<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card holding structure for holding a card for electronic equipment inserted into a card insertion hole formed in the electronic equipment for completely preventing the connection failure between a card and a contact, and for improving productivity with an extremely simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This card holding structure is provided with an engaged section 5 formed around a card insertion hole 9 installed in electronic equipment and a cover 2 formed so as to be engaged/disengaged with the engaged section 5, and equipped with a pressing part 16 for pressing and engaging the upper end section of a card 13 for the electronic equipment simultaneously when it is engaged with the engaged section 5.
