PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold release agent-coating device capable of efficiently coating a mold with a mold release agent. SOLUTION: The release agent coating device 10 comprises: a reducing valve 28 for regulating the pressure of compressed air; a control section 44 for controlling the reducing valve 28; and a temperature sensor 20 for outputting a signal to the control section 44. The control section 44 decides the set pressure of the compressed air based on the signal inputted from the temperature sensor 20, and controls the reducing valve 28. When the temperature of a mold 12 is high, the reducing valve 28 is controlled in such a manner that the pressure of the compressed air is made low. In this way, the particle diameter of the release agent to be atomized is made large, and the phenomenon that the release agent is repeled from the mold 12 is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
