<p>Fertilizing a turf comprises providing a fertilizer comprising phosphorus on the basis of phosphorus pentoxide (5-12%), potassium on the basis of potassium oxide (5-24%) and calcium on the basis of calcium oxide (5-25%), while nitrogen compounds are avoided, and a nitrogen fertilizer is delivered as an auxiliary agent only for a one-time application during the laying of the new turf, in order to allow the grass to grow faster; where a lush green turf is obtained after applying the fertilizer, which grows slowly in spite of the application of fertilizers and so need not be cut so often. An independent claim is included for a powdered mixture of the fertilizer.</p> |
