<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus optimally and effectively convey a plurality of notification information that occur, an information processing apparatus and a method of controlling them, and also to provide a recording system and a program. <P>SOLUTION: When the condition information of the recording apparatus contains a plurality of error/warning information, the recording apparatus determines the priority orders of the respective error/warning information and whether the plurality of error/warning information are to be conveyed, based on the print setting information of input print data. Based on the determined result, the recording apparatus generates status information which contains the plurality of error/warning information, their priority order and conveying necessary/unnecessary information representing whether the plurality of error/warning information are to be conveyed. The recording apparatus displays display information corresponding to the respective error/warning information on the display unit, based on the plurality of error/warning information, their priority orders and the notification necessary/unnecessary information, in the generated status information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
