PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling toy in which a parachute opens during traveling without remote controlling and thereafter the traveling can be forcibly stopped by braking. SOLUTION: The travelling toy A traveling by rotating driving wheels 1 using the driving force of a flywheel 4 has a shooting unit 6 for shooting the parachute 3 and a brake unit 7 forcibly stopping the driving wheels 1, wherein the shooting unit 6 and the brake unit 7 are operated by a driving mechanism 8 operating interlocking with the rotation of free wheels 2 during traveling; and the driving mechanism 8 activates the brake unit 7 after traveling a predetermined distance after activating the shooting unit 6.
