<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-process double-sided printer capable of performing single-sided printing without using a wasted master and capable of obtaining a printed matter formed with an image of high quality when performing double-sided printing, and improved in paper sheets aligning in the paper sheets cross direction. <P>SOLUTION: This printer 1 having a printing unit 2 and a paper delivery tray 8 for storing the paper sheets formed with images by printing is provided with a paper sheet tip holding member 142 for holding a tip of the paper sheet PA fed from the printing unit 2 at a first position over the paper delivery tray 8 and near the printing unit and for releasing the tip of the paper sheet PA at a second position in rear and over the paper delivery tray 8 and lower than the first position, wherein a rear end of the paper sheet PA is fed from the printing unit 2, and a holding member moving means 143 for moving the paper sheet tip holding member 142 for reciprocation between the first and the second positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
