EX VIVO CULTIVATION METHODS OF MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS DERIVED FROM UMBILICAL CORD BLOOD

A method for culturing mesenchymal stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood is provided to increase an initial adhesion rate of the mesenchymal stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood and mass-culture stem cells with maintaining the characteristics of the stem cells for a long period of time. An ex vivo culturing method of mesenchymal stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood comprises the steps of: (a) coating a culturing container with gelatin to obtain a gelatin-coated culturing container; and (b) after putting a culture medium for culturing stem cells in the gelatin-coated culturing container, inoculating the mesenchymal stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood thereinto and then culturing it, wherein the culture medium is alpha-MEM culture medium including an inactivated fetal bovine serum.
