PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain power consumption at photographing by selecting a driving current value in accordance with shutter speed. SOLUTION: Subject luminance and exposure are calculated by a CCD image sensor 28. Shutter speed at photographing is calculated by using the calculated value of the exposure in a shutter speed arithmetic calculation circuit 35. The calculated value T and the reference value X of the shutter speed are compared to select the driving current value of a shutter mechanism 39 in the current selection part 37 of a shutter driving control circuit 36. For example, when the calculated value T >= the reference value X of the shutter speed holds, the driving current value I=Ihigh is selected to drive the mechanism 39. When the calculated value T < the reference value X holds, the driving current value I=Ilow is selected to drive the mechanism 39. |
