A method for manufacturing a refrigerant heat exchanger is provided to shorten manufacturing time and prevent leakage of refrigerant by fixing a plurality of baffles onto a header tank at the same time. A method for manufacturing a refrigerant heat exchanger includes a step of preparing a header tank(20), a step of inserting the header tank in a lengthwise direction into a lower mandrel formed on a support, a step of forming an upper mandrel mated to the lower mandrel, and permitting a stripper to press the header tank by an elastic member, a step of descending a plurality of slot punches facing the header tank from a top of the stripper, and shearing a part of an outer surface of the header tank inserted in a mandrel formed by the stripper and the support such that a plurality of baffle holes are formed at the same time, a step of forming an inlet port and an outlet port at the header tank such that the inlet port and the outlet port are communicated to a receiver dryer, and a step of forming a plurality of tube holes at the side opposite from the baffle holes so as to connect a tube of a condenser. |
