Method and devices for buffering data in a wireless network

The method involves transmitting data from a transmission server (40) to a mobile terminal (14) over a mobile network (10), which works according to a Global system for mobile communication standard and General Pocket Radio Service standard. The data are processed by the mobile terminal, where the data that are requested by the transmission server through the mobile terminal are stored in a buffer (28) for the latter access and the buffer is designed in a non-volatile manner. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a mobile terminal for a mobile network (2) a transmission server in a mobile network.
