A method for extracting sulfur compounds from garlic is provided to preserve useful sulfur compound without loss and inhibit changes of sulfur compound over time by using no heat treatment, increase purity of sulfur compounds by powdering, and inhibit environmental pollution by using no harmful organic solvent. A method for extracting sulfur compounds from garlic comprises the steps of: pulverizing garlic; adding ethyl alcohol and 5-10% dextrin into the pulverized garlic to form a garlic mixture; reacting the garlic mixture at room temperature to obtain the sulfur compound-dissolved garlic extract; removing garlic dregs to obtain the garlic extract; and freeze-drying the garlic extract.
