PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device in which not only access status between an input/output device and an optical disk but also error information can be obtained by a user using an access lamp, also visibility of the access lamp can be maintained. SOLUTION: An optical disk device 100 is provided with a case 1, a light emitting element 5 on a case plane and a light emitting element 7 outside of the case informing operation status, and a control device 3 inside the case controlling the light emitting element 5 on the case plane and the light emitting element 7 outside of the case by a control signal. Respective one ends of a first communication path 4 and a second communication path 6 communicating the control signal are connected to the control device 3, the other end of the first communication path 4 is connected to the light emitting element 5 inside, and the other end of the second communication path 6 is connected to the light emitting element 7 outside.
