<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for surely determining that visit by an owner of an IC card is valid and a method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The visit management system is constituted by connecting a visitor acceptance device and a visit authentication device via a network. The visitor acceptance device transmits information specifying a visiting destination to be stored and visitor identification information read from the IC card to the visit authentication device and receives a visitor authentication result from the visit authentication device. The visit authentication device collates visit schedule data including the visitor identification information to be stored, information specifying a visiting destination, visit scheduled date and time information, with the received visitor identification information and the information specifying the visiting destination, performs visitor authentication and transmits a visitor authentication result to the visitor acceptance device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
