IN-VEHICLE COMMUNICATING SYSTEM, METHOD OF BUILDING THE SAME, REPEATER, OPTICAL FIBER FIXTURE, AND OPTICAL FIBER EXTRA-LENGTH ADJUSTING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle communication system which is capable of communicating with only one optical fiber connected thereto through the existing repeater among a plurality of optical fibers in the event of such a trouble that some of the optical fibers break, and realizes a low cost and miniaturized constitution of the repeater.

SOLUTION: The system uses optical fibers 30a, 30b having approximately the same optical route length so as to transmit optical signals at the same timing to ECUs 11, 12, even when transmitting the optical signals over the two optical fibers. This reliably transmits the optical signals to communication party repeaters whichever they are transmitted over the two optical fibers 30a, 30b (Fig. 2(a)) or over only either optical fiber (30a) (Fig. 2(b)).
