PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device suppressing the shadow of a display section provided in a display plate that is displayed in the background for improving visibility. SOLUTION: The display device comprises the display plate 8 having the display section 7 provided in a transparent board and a background plate arranged in the background of the display plate 8 spacing from the display plate 8, in which a frame section 24 with the rim side of the display section 7 deeply colored and the outer circumference side thinly colored around the display section 7 is provided.
