PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of an opening and closing mechanism of both grip handles in a manual sharp-edged tool such as scissors. SOLUTION: This mechanism is provided with a magnetic force switching operation means 12 constituted of a first switching part 13 having a magnet 15 and a second switching part 14 having a magnet 19 between the first grip handle 4 and the second grip handle 5 of the scissors. The first switching part 13 is fixed to an inside edge part 11 of a finger hook ring 10 of the first grip handle 4. The second switching part 14 is rotatably supported by the inside edge part 11 of the finger hook ring 10 of the second grip handle 5, falls down in the finger hook ring 10 of the second grip handle 5 at a suction and rotation position P, and stands up from the inside of the finger hook ring 10 of the second grip handle 5 at a repulsion and rotation position. The magnetic force switching operation means 12 is switched into a suction state R sucked by the magnets 15 and 19 so that closed states of the first grip handle 4 and the second grip handle 5 may be held at the suction and rotation position P of the second switching part 14 and a repulsion state repelled by the magnets 15 and 19 so that the first grip handle 4 and the second grip handle 5 may be opened from the closed states at the repulsion and rotation position of the second switching part 14. As a result, holding between the first grip handle 4 and the second grip handle 5 and opening assistance accompanying holding and releasing are performed under a simple structure.
