PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body side weather strip with an excellent sealing property without forming a gap at a sponge sealing portion of a mounting base. SOLUTION: This body side weather strip comprises an approximate U-sectioned mounting base 10 mounted to a flange part 4 formed on a body 2 of an automobile and fitted to the flange part 4, and a hollow sealing part 20. A resin core material 14 is embedded in the mounting base 10, and a sponge seal 11 elastically contacting the tip of the flange part 4 is provided at a corner between a bottom wall 10a and an outer wall 10c without forming a gap G between the bottom wall 10a and the outer wall 10c.
